Caremix® Prime T3 Wall Mounted Thermostatic Tap
The Caremix Prime T3 is a sequential D08 approved thermostatic tap typically used in areas with a panel system where the tap is mounted on a wall or panel with a void behind which carries the service pipework, as is common in many commercial sites. It is perfectly suited for high risk environments such as hospitals or nursing homes to protect vulnerable users from being scalded by hot water as the tap utilises an innovative ‘cool-touch’ design.
The Caremix Prime T3 is supplied with a special PVD coating to resist sctraching and deteriation of the chrome finish, and copper connection tails to eliminate the possibility of bacteria breeding in the rubber hoses. Using the compact, one-piece Caremix Thermostatic Cartridge the Caremix Prime T3 can also reduce maintenance times & costs.
The Thermostatic Tap must be a TMV3 accredited, WRAS approved, wall-mounted, cool-touch tap with extended lever option that complies to BS7942, HTM04-01 D08 and HBN00/10 Part C. Sequentially controlled & PVD coated, the wall mounted tap must not include EPDM where seals come into contact with potable water. Supplied in vacuum sealed packaging, a downward angled spout with a smooth machined internal bore is required alongside incorporated isolation for hot & cold supplies with a separate integral one piece structure for strainers, check valves & flow regulators. The tap must have a demountable body from the front whilst leaving the tails in situ and include an “in situ” thermal disinfection facility. Metallic pipe covers that seal the hot & cold feeds must be supplied using a four point seal system. In addition the tap must include, a tool free twist off cap and a single piece interchangeable Caremix thermostatic cartridge.
