Our Brass ball valves are used in water applications to allow appliances or sections of plumbing within a building to be switched off without draining the whole system. Typically, a brass ball valve will be found at the outlets for appliances such as washing machines and dishwashers to allow water supply to be cut off during installation or maintenance. Ball valves are also found underneath kitchen or bathroom sinks and remain on at all times to allow the user to control water flow with the tap. Should the tap need replacing, the brass ball valve is turned off to cut water supply of temporarily.
